 Introduction to Vedic Astro

Though vedic astrology does not need an introduction still the
following will help to understand the relation between stars, planets and their effect on
Earth & Earthlings :
Vedic Astrology is based on Astronomical
observations i.e. upon exact location of the planets.
Our planetery system is comparable to a very miniscule dust particle
vis-a-vis the universe (by the way universe means one
verse or one song). Atoms,the smallest building blocks of the universe,
contain electrons which revolve around the nucleus similar to the planets
revolving around the Sun. No one has seen electrons but Electrical, Electronics,
Computer Sciences and Engineering are based on the laws about the electrons and
the atomic structure.
The moon is responsible for tides in the seas/oceans
meaning that the human/animals/plants which contain more than 70% water
content are also influenced by moon's gravitational pull.
Most visible examples of Sun's
effect are the Light & Heat ( electromagnetic radiations)
received from the Sun which created all life and energy
sources on earth.
As we cannot see the electromagnetic radiations making our
television sets & mobile phones functional, we cannot see these invisible
radiations emanating from the stars & planets impacting us & our environment.
Hole in the Ozone layer is responsible for Sun's dangerous Ultraviolet
radiations to reach Earth and raise its surface temperature resuting in Green
house effect causing melting of glaciers due to inability of Earth's surface to
reflect the Sun's heat back to the space due to increasing levels of pollutants
in our environment.
Vedic astrology which is a part of Vedas is around 5000
years old and only genuine subject can endure so long and withstand tests of
time & doubts raised by Human minds.
